I don’t wear heels very often these days, and when it comes to getting dressed up, I have found that there are plenty of fun, emotional, options that are flat or flat-ish (shoes need to be walkable, or allow me to stand comfortably for at least 3 hours).
I pulled together some of my favorite options that will be perfect whether they are paired with jeans or something more festive to take you to your holiday soirees. If you’re looking to keep comfy and cozy in slippers that pass as chic footwear, want to bring in something sparkly and show-stopping, or are looking for something in a rich texture and material like a calf hair, velvet, or satin, there are lots of fun options below.

I don't know who to make the check out to for making flats so beautiful — and embraced by fashion. I think back to all the years of teetering through the office (concrete floors at Calvin so you knew we were coming a mile away) that could have been more glorious in flats.
