It’s been really exciting finding jeans that just fit out the gate, and don’t need any tailoring (because that doesn’t happen often). For me, a lot of the fit is about the proportion and length, for someone of very average height. At 5’ 4”, I’m usually a little taller than a petite fit, but also too short for standard inseam lengths. So this length research won’t apply to everyone, but hopefully it helps some.
I have a thing for white jeans and white pants and wear them year round. This pair by KOTN is called the antifit, and they also come in lots of other colors. They are a bit more of a voluminous fit, and I love that they feel like a cool boyfriend jean. This style comes in lengths and I chose the 28” inseam which is exactly what I need. They just opened a store in New York, so you can pop by to check them out if you’re here. I love this natural cotton fabric - it’s a little rustic feeling, and the shape is easy and goes well with so many shoes. I am loving it with a ballet flat, and Jamie Haller is making some amazing options. The white pair has a much lower topline and come with a removable tie, and the black pair is the perfect classic shape.
Adding a classic belt is a really easy way to make a look feel a little more polished, and I am loving the Déhanche line for all of their elevated belt options.
This black tee by Leset has been a staple, I love the proportion of the sleeve length and opening. I found another great option here.
I’ve been gravitating toward metal sunglass frames, and this pair with the olive lenses are beautiful and a good pick-up.
For bags… I am a huge fan of this satchel by Parker Thatch. It’s slouchy, roomy, has a zipper closure, and also can be worn with a longer strap. This crocheted bag has been a favorite and it’s also lined so your things will be safe.
This pair is by Nelle Atelier, a denim brand dedicated to petite fits, and I am obsessed with their Claire jean. They are made of the most comfortable lightweight cotton denim, and I love the slouchy ease to the silhouette. I am excited to try their other styles too.
Since they are designed for people under 5’ 4”, I am just scraping by, but I love getting them a size bigger and wearing them lower, for a relaxed look. The length works well with a flat sandal like these flip flops and these buckled slides.
This jade ring from Sophie Buhai brings a little color in, and I have my eye on this little knotted bag that will be perfect for summer days ahead.
I was on the hunt for a new fragrance and just discovered Poivre Samarcande by Hermès which is subtly peppery but also fresh at the same time, if that makes sense. I’m on the hunt for any alternatives, if anyone has a recommendation!
These jeans are by Pistola, a denim brand based in and made in LA. Another great length out of the box, slightly cropped, and the denim is so soft and comfortable, with the right amount of comfort stretch. The wash is light and summery, and the fabric is a light to mid-weight. The seaming detail at the side gives the jean some shape.
This pop of this bright red feels fun but also timeless: sweater tank by Alex Mill, chic bag from Neous, fun netted sandals, and my go-to shade of Ilia’s multistick.
A crisp poplin shirt is a wardrobe staple and I love it as a layering piece for the days where the weather is all over the place. If you’re looking for a luxurious shirt that you can have monogrammed, take a look at this one from Chava Studio.
I adore Studio Dévé’s shell pendant necklace - it’s bringing me chic summer vibes.
I can never have too many pairs of black sunglasses - this shape is flattering on so many face shapes!
I keep this Superegg hand cream on me at all times - it is the perfect light texture but keeps my hands moisturized and not greasy. And it’s cute to look at!
I have so many wider leg and relaxed fit jeans, and had been looking for a good straight leg jean. I finally landed on this great cropped pair from SPRWMN. I love that they are just a little above my ankle and are a perfect straight fit. FYI all of their pants fit so well! I am going to try some of the other leg shapes next.
Have been living in perfect white tees and simple ribbed tanks, a good cat eye sunglass, and a cool sculptural tote.
And then sometimes it’s fun to add a little sparkle to dress up a denim look with this Dorsey necklace.
I don’t like to wear a lot of jewelry, but I gravitate towards minimal but statement rings like this one by Agmes and Simone Bodmer Turner.
I’ve been feeling for flip flops and this time the white with black sole are so good. I always like to play around with shoe changes and this woven sandal by MAREA adds a nice contrast and texture to a monochromatic look.
I never leave home without finishing my hair with this product by Reverie - it smells incredible and makes my hair smooth and adds just the right amount of texture.
Thanks for reading all of this! Would love to hear any favorite brands, or products you are loving or may be on the lookout for.

I love the shapes of these tanks - especially the Alex Mill! - but what bras are people wearing with them??
I love the details behind WHY you’re attracted to pieces or pull them together, not purely a push to purchase. Thank you for sharing!
